LCEC Launches A New Round of ESCOs Qualifications

The LCEC has recently launched a new round of qualification scheme for Energy Service Companies (ESCOs). The deadline for submission is Monday, 17 August 2020 at 12:00 noon (EEST) at the LCEC Engineering Office in Badaro, Lebanon. To download the application form, check the LCEC website using the following link: https://bit.ly/ESCOSQualificationJune2020. Webinar by LCEC: “Sustainable Energy in Lebanon: Planning Our Actions to Exit the Survival Mode”

 In partnership with the Lebanon Committee of the World Energy Council, the LCEC will be organizing an online webinar entitled "Sustainable Energy in Lebanon: Planning Our Actions to Exit the Survival Mode". The event will take place on Tuesday, 7 July 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Beirut time (EEST time zone). The event will shed the light on the main obstacles hindering the development of the sustainable energy market in Lebanon, and the possible strategic actions needed to exit the current survival mode in view of Lebanon’s current crisis. The event will witness a keynote address by Dr. Angela Wilkinson, Secretary General of the World Energy Council and a fireside chat with Dr. Zoheir Hamedi, Regional Programme Officer- Middle East and North Africa- IRENA. The event will also include interventions by Dr. Hassan Harajli (UNDP- CEDRO 5), Ms. Carole Rigaud (EU Delegation to Lebanon), and Mr. Pierre El Khoury (LCEC).
