LCEC Team Safe and Sound

The LCEC offices were partly damaged due to the devastating explosion that hit Beirut on 4 August 2020. The LCEC team members and their families are all safe and sound. The LCEC team has resumed full normal operation just four days after the explosion and following the repairs done at the offices. The LCEC would like to thank all friends and colleagues who have sent words of support after the Beirut explosion. LCEC is committed to keep the momentum for prosperous renewable energy and energy efficiency markets in Lebanon, with full cooperation with our national, regional, and international partners. 

RCREEE: Call for Candidatures to the 14th Round of the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth (APSEY)

The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) -in cooperation with the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID)- has recently launched the call for candidatures to the 14th round of the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth (APSEY). APSEY offers recent graduates six (6) internship opportunities at RCREEE’s regional headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The selected interns should be prepared to relocate to Cairo and work in a fast-paced team environment. Interns will complete the internship period having gained a broad experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and regional cooperation fields.
