Michel Ange is part of the Oil & Gas sector development advisory team at the Ministry of Energy and Water in Lebanon. After obtaining a double Master’s degree in Materials Engineering and Engineering Management from both the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry ESIEE Management and the Pobtechnico di Milano, he started out his career at GE Energy in France then moved to the International Oil Trade Center in Jordan before returning to Lebanon In 2009.
Amongst other tasks at the Ministry of Energy and Water in Lebanon, Michel-Ange is responsible for the progression of the downstream Oil and Gas sector, from policy to project development and implementation, handling the technical and managerial aspects of feasibility studies. Amongst those projects he holds a special interest for SODEL (Sustainable Oil & Gas Development for Lebanon), a joint project developed with the UNDP, which in part aims at establishing a National strategy for the fuels savings and use of Alternative fuels in Lebanon.
Since 2010, Michel Ange has been acting as Advisor to H.E. at the Minister of Energy and Water in Lebanon and in May 2013, he was appointed Future Energy Leader for Lebanon at the World Energy Council.
